Your audio never leaves your device. All noise removal processing happens entirely on-device using on-device AI models. We never transmit, store, or access your audio files in any form.

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Aculix Technologies LLP ("we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with your use of Denoiser ("the App"), available on the Apple App Store.

We are committed to your privacy. Denoiser is built around a privacy-first principle: audio processing happens entirely on your device, with no data ever sent to our servers.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

  • Audio files: Any audio you process in the App is handled entirely on-device. We do not receive, store, or have any access to your audio files at any point.
  • Purchase information: Payment is handled entirely by Apple App Store. We do not collect or store your payment details. We receive limited purchase metadata (e.g., subscription status, plan type) via RevenueCat to manage your access.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage and analytics data: We collect anonymised data about how the App is used, such as feature interactions and session length, to improve the App experience. This data does not identify you personally.
  • Crash reports: If the App crashes, a crash report may be collected automatically. These reports contain technical information about the crash and your device but do not include any audio data.
  • Device information: Basic device information such as operating system version and device model for compatibility and diagnostic purposes.

2.3 Information We Do Not Collect

  • We do not collect your name, email address, or account credentials unless you voluntarily contact us for support.
  • We do not collect your audio files or any content you process in the App.
  • We do not collect precise location data.
  • We do not build user profiles or sell any data to third parties.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above to:

  • Manage your subscription and App access
  • Improve the performance, stability, and features of the App
  • Diagnose and fix crashes and technical issues
  • Respond to support inquiries if you contact us

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating and improving the App.

4. Your Audio — On-Device Processing

Denoiser processes audio using AI models that run entirely on your device. When you import or record audio in the App:

  • Processing happens locally on your iPhone using on-device machine learning
  • Your audio is never uploaded to any server
  • Your audio is never transmitted to any third party
  • Your audio is never used for AI model training of any kind

Your audio stays on your device — always. Not even we can access it.

5. Data Retention

Since we do not collect or store your audio, there is no audio data to retain or delete on our end.

Anonymised analytics and crash report data are retained only for as long as necessary to serve their intended purpose of improving the App.

Purchase metadata received via RevenueCat is retained as long as necessary to manage your subscription status.

6. Sharing of Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share limited information only in the following circumstances:

  • RevenueCat — receives purchase metadata from Apple to manage and verify your subscription status. RevenueCat does not have access to your audio or usage data beyond what is necessary for subscription management.
  • Analytics and crash reporting providers — receive anonymised usage and crash data to help us improve the App. These providers are contractually prohibited from using this data for any other purpose.
  • Legal requirements — we may disclose information if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal process.
  • Business transfers — in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, user data may be transferred as part of that transaction. You will be notified of any such change.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

8. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the limited information we do collect. Because audio processing is entirely on-device, your audio files are never exposed to network transmission risks.

Depending on your location, you may have rights under applicable data protection laws, including the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction or deletion of your data
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority
